It’s time to Balance your life

My name is Amie, Im 32, a wife and mum of two beautiful boys under the age of 4. As you may know being a mum is hard work and a full-time job so fitting any type of fitness in is tricky.  Alongside my weekly class programs I have been filming classes to share them with you so you can be active and feel good too.

I love being active, Pilates, walking, going to the park, visiting local attractions in and around my area of The east riding of Yorkshire, Hull. I’ve always had a busy lifestyle from being 11 years old which was when I joined The Royal Ballet School in Richmond park, London.

During my dance career I also studied Pilates which was brilliant because it helped me stay strong throughout my dancing career. Having danced with the Royal ballet and Birmingham royal ballet then moving on and dancing with other companies for a few years I turned to teaching Pilates.

I love the rewards I get from helping others benefit from Pilates even if you could only manage 1 hour a week or try something shorter and do it more often. Pilates is low impact, easy on the joints and can help in many ways, just look at some testimonials of people from my classes (real people) and how good they’re feeling after a short period of time. Pilates is long term and a sustainable form of exercise you’ll soon see the benefits it can have for you.
